Here at Blackberry Centre, our users are real users that use their Blackberries everyday.
We don’t just review for the sake of it, we actually put the devices through their stride.
The LG KS20 is yet another stylish phone from LG. This particular pink example belonging to my cousin. From what I gather, the LG KS20 is another Asia only phone as I have yet to see a provider in the UK.
The LG KS20 is a smartphone that runs on Windows Mobile 6 and looks similar to the Prada phone from LG. I am yet to fully like a WM phone to be a replacement for a Blackberry and unfortunately, that feeling still remains. However, the system works well on this phone as long as you use it as a phone rather than an emailing client/pda.
The KS20 is a nice size ( the thinnest Windows Mobile device to date I believe ) and feels refreshingly light for such a device. The phone is mainly touchscreen with some hard keys on the top and side. A stylus is supplied and fits neatly within the phone. The stylus is essential as all the inputs for the phone is via the standard Windows Mobile interface.
The camera is 2 megapixel and is relatively good given the resolution and media playback is also ok. Battery life is good with the phone lasting a couple of days on a single charge.
However, our one did provide the odd lockup and crash which required the removal of the battery to reset. Again, a trait that is so commonly linked with Winows Media mobile phones.

The LG KS20 is a nice looking and good phone. Use it as a phone and it will be fine. Use is as a PDA or Blackberry replacement and you will soon see the flaws in Windows Mobile which are not just native to this phone. Also be prepared for one or two system glitches.
