The Sony Vaio VGN-TT11WN/B is Sony’s flagship portable notebook with a plethora of connectivity options. It has a nicely compact but perfectly legible 11.1” X-Black LCD TFT screen which is of a matt finish unlike previous screens. Sony’s screens have always been crystal clear and sharp and this one is no different.

The laptop comes with a 160Gb hard drive and a DVD Rewritable drive (which is peculiar as a Blu Ray drive was omitted on such a notebook ). It comes with Wifi and also a built in 3G WAN modem ( basically allows you to surf the internet with a mobile internet enabled sim card ).

Performance is good. The processor loading the OS ( Microsoft Windows Vista Business ) quite quickly for such a small device. The battery life is equally impressive at a quoted 460 minute usage time. Thats a whopping 7 hours!

As previously, the dimensions of the VGN-TT1WN/B is wonderfully small. Not quite as small as the netbooks such as the Asus Eee PC but then this laptop is so much easier to use. The weight is equally impressive at a measly 1.32kg with the battery. All in all, this is a good laptop to be carrying around with you on the go, if albeit on the underpowered side when compared with full sized laptops.

Stylish businessmen on the move will adore the VGN-TT11WN/B and it has a price tag to match its style. Good performance mixed with small dimensions make this a winner. I would quite happily take this over a Mac Book any day.
